How do I get it?

Any individual, family, or group can receive Presidential recognition for annual and lifelong commitment to volunteer service at home or abroad. The following are the eligibility requirements:

Awards For:   KIDS   YOUNG ADULTS ADULTS    FAMILIES & GROUPS

Families and Groups (two or more people)*

Presidential Volunteer Service Award

Bronze Level
200 to 499 hours

Picture of Silver President's Volunteer Service Award Pin
Presidential Volunteer Service Award

Silver Level
500 to 999 hours

Picture of Gold President's Volunteer Service Award Pin
Presidential Volunteer Service Award

Gold Level
1000 hours or more

* In families and groups, each member contributing to the total number of hours must have served 25 hours or more.
