How You Can Serve

Find an Organization

If you're looking for volunteer opportunities near you, please visit: http://www.serve.gov/ . We do not have list available of Certifying organizations.

When determining whether a volunteer opportunity is a good fit for your skills and interests, be sure to ask the volunteer coordinator whether they are a Certifying Organization actively participating in the President's Volunteer Service Award. If they're not, please encourage them to apply to become a Certifying Organization

Register your Volunteer Profile

If you, the volunteer, wishes to track your own hours at any time during your participation with our program, you must register under the Volunteers link on the Get Involved page of the website. Once your profile is registered, you can log in and link your account to the Certifying Organization by utilizing the Certifying Organization’s ROS (Record of Service) key.
